I am thrilled to announce that I will be interviewed by Gil Broza on August 18th at 4pm ET. The focus of the interview will be how Enterprise 2.0 can assist Agile teams become more collaborative.
You can register for the interview via http://www.3pvantage.com/rlavigne/opt-in.php?ver=RLS
Details of the interview can be seen below.
I’ve been on LinkedIn from its early days (2002?) and on Twitter for a year, so I’m no stranger to social media. But I was definitely not ready for what Rob Lavigne presented at XP Toronto in May!
Surely you’ve also noticed the social media revolution. Even the technologically challenged are getting with the program. And now, so are companies, teams, and large vendors.
If you’re in a managerial and/or leadership position, this will have an impact on you soon enough.
Do you use Agile development? Do you benefit from its extreme reliance on collaboration? Imagine how far that can go beyond Wikis, Sharepoint, chat, and ALM tools.
Rob has considerable expertise and undeniable passion in applying this trend (sometimes called “Enterprise 2.0”) in business. He can see beyond the technology to understand its impact on how we conduct ourserlves in our teams.
I’ve snagged him for you. He’s my next guest on the “Spot On” series, which has already featured such experts as Michael Bolton and Christopher Avery. Our interview is titled:
“Spot On Collaboration in the Social Era”.
I’m interviewing Rob next Wednesday, August 18, at 4pm ET / 1pm PT. It will be 45-minutes short. You can attend on the phone or on the webcast, and as usual you’ll get the recording afterwards.
Secure your spot here.
We’ll be talking about:
- The powerful alignment of social media and Agile teamwork
- How new technologies can help you keep up with the flood of daily progress and status information
- Leveraging your organization’s human assets beyond their immediate teams (this is huge!)
- New media in support of faster team building
I’m very excited about this interview!
