Picking up on the data-liberation theme, McAfee’s Enterprise 3.0 panel talked about drilling into these data silos so at least power users could access the information and perhaps get salespeople and other employees to make use of it as well. The goal is to make possible “the invention of new things to do with that data,” said Ralph Swick, chief operating officer of W3C, a.k.a. World Wide Web Consortium, an international group that develops Web standards.

Much like how the contextualization of the web is the Semantic Web, Enterprise 3.0 will very much be Semantic Collaboration.
